Hi
I have been soooo bad at this lately but it is soooo busy still with the holidays and the kids out of school and Travis working so much that I am exhausted! I can't sleep well at night and I'm up every morning early with the kids, but enough about that. We are gearing up for a busy New Years Eve, Travis will be doing the free tows home and we go to the shop to support him until midnight the kids enjoy it and there are lots of employees there on the evening to work so the families get together and have snacks and food. I am sad to report that I did take down my tree two days ago and yes it did take me that long, I am not the next day kind of woman with the disaster that is my house after the kids open all their gifts. I also worked Christmas day and I'm just getting a day off tomorrow so I have not had time off from work to do a whole lot. I love all of the snow and yes Christmas day was crazy I have pics and will try to post tomorrow of the pile up of snow on my front porch. Travis got me diamond earrings and a heart necklace with a small diamond on it; I would like to say I'm not a diamond girl but I would be lying so I won't. Lol! I hope to be back tomorrow with pics, Later, Amy

ribbon cutting
So a quick post tonight after work, thank goodness I have tomarrow off! Poor Travis has worked night and day with all this snow and is keeping very busy. We are still waiting on the bank, as always, for news on the house. I am getting more excited now to have some space that will be ours. I am going back to my old schedule of 9am to 2pm with Tuesday and Wednesday off, but it may be temporary if they offer me a permanent position with the coaching team, but nothing firm yet. Now on 12/15/08 Denny's Wrecker a.k.a. Travis' work had a ribbon cutting ceremony with the mayor of Chubbuck and a news crew for new management for the shop. Denny and Shirley are ready to be done running this shop and getting ready for DeAnn, Stephanie and Travis to take over. So here are some pictures of just that, ribbon cutting and interview. We had Christmas with Travis' mom and Larry on Sunday and had a wonderful time even though we were missing Kyle, Kayla's husband (Travis' neice), he has been in the hospital with a stomach bug of some sort.

Santa
Okay if your children still believe in Santa dont let them read this one! Travis played Santa for a group small cheer squad and then came to my mom's house and visited our children. We really enjoyed it but later when my mom asked Trevor who that was in the photo with him he told her it was Daddy. Grandma being the smart woman she is told him it was Santa so Trevor said "Yes, Daddy Santa!" There is no fooling your own children but we still enjoyed the evening. Later, Amy
fixed i hope
Okay so I am really going to have to do this fast. Travis is going on about 5 hours of sleep and wants to go home! I think I have got my pictures working, but again very busy week still ahead so I will try to post again very soon. These are of Trevor in the snow; he loves it and makes snowballs to throw at everyone. This snow suit might be a bit too small but he didnt seem to mind and it kept him very warm when Grandma Margaret let him out to play.

Hi
Well, my friend Jenni has been at it again; she updated my blog and it looks amazing! So thanks so much Jenni, I love it! Things are crazy and I work late now so I haven't gotten much done. We are busy getting things started for the T.o.w.e.d program; it actually starts today, and we have a ribbon cutting ceremony at the shop tomorrow. We are also working on buying the house still and Travis is in love with the house on Brisco so we have made an offer. It is not working out the way I would like it too but we are still picking away at it, maybe by the end of January we will be in the new house. It is close to my parents still here in Chubbuck and we are hoping to keep Eric in the same school district. We have a busy week full of school programs and work. I hope everyone is having a great holiday season so far. Later, Amy

Just a quick post before heading out. My schedule at work is changing again for a couple of weeks and I'm so worried I won't be good at this new assignment I'm really feeling the stress here even though I know what I'm doing after 9 years! Yes, 9 years! I know it scares me too, lol. It is not a great time to change again but it is a great opertunity for me to do something different at work. Trevor played in the snow we got yesterday here while I was at work. Eric had 4-h after school; his last class for now, so didnt get to play in the snow. We went home and decorated our christmas tree; it was a lot of fun for the boys and I to do. Travis helped with the lights and then sat back and took pics for me. I am working on my annual holiday goodies and should have them ready to go out by the end of the week but no promises. Later, Amy

Great cause
So this website is from a friend from high school; it is her sister in law and brother that inspired and set up this site to raise funds for people battling cancer. http://www.photosforabuck.com/default.aspx It's a great cause and great price! Please help us continue the fight for survival against so many types of cancer! Love, Amy
HI
So I know it has been a while but things are sooooooo crazy around the holidays. My work schedule is changing again! It is again a temp. thing but may turn into something more long term. I will be coaching other agents on their phone calls and won't have to be taking calls of my own for a few weeks, so it will be a nice change. Travis is kind of slow at the shop but keeping busy still; he is on call most of the week so he can have the weekends off witht he kids while I work. Eric is excited he has two weeks of school left and the Christmas vacation! We put our tree up in our house last night but didnt have time to start decorating. I think it will be a process this year. My niece's Paige and Samantha were just baptised last night and confirmed this morning so the boys and I went to that. Travis played Santa Clause last night for a group of kids and is off hunting geese and ducks today with my Dad. The picture portion of my computer still down but I'm working on it. Later, Amy

grrrrrrrrrr
I cant get my pictures on here again! I'm sorry you will have to go without seeing the float because it was a lot of work to put together and even more to take apart! Lol! We had fun though. I am breaking out the Christmas decorations asap but I cant do it before Thanksgiving (it's like a law!) so it has to wait for me to get some time which means not this weekend. I hate having time off in the middle of the week I feel like I get no time to relax. I have to be up and out of the house by 8:15 am to get Eric off to school. I am grateful to have a good paying job that gives my good hours during the week though so I can take Eric to school and pick him up. I'm ready for my lights up outside and my door ringer to sing holly songs of the season to me. I know that door hanger drives Travis mad but I am still putting it up and I have to compete with the kids to get to push the button to make it sing when we walk up to our front door! I can't wait for our tree we have been working on the tree decorations for over a month so I hope it comes together well! I hope to have the picture portion up and running soon sorry guys! Later, Amy

thanksgiving
Hi everyone! Just a quick note today, we had a wonderful Thanksgiving even though I worked until 2. We went to DeAnn and Bill's house, Travis' step-sis and had some good food and a wonderful time visiting with his whole family. Travis made a fruit salad to take so I didn't cook a single thing on the big day. It was kind of nice! Lol! I did the crazy thing and got up at 4 am to go to Sears on Friday. They had a front loading washer and dryer set for 599.00 and since my washer is leaving marks on my clothes and it takes two cycles for my clothes to dry I thought it worth the pain (a lot of PAIN!) to get up and go even though I also had to be to work by 9am. My sister Sandi went with me and the set is on back order but hopefully will be in soon since I already had to pay for them. I had to wait in line for 45 minutes, but we saved over 600.00. I thought it best to leave Travis at home in bed so we wouldn't have to drag the kids out (my mom was working!) I did manage to make it to Kmart for a few small things but as you can imagine not a lot of money left in the budget. I did get to go to breakfast with Sandi before going to work. I worked until 2 and then headed to the shop to help put the finishing touches on the float for the Parade of Lights and then headed home to get Trevor a nap before going to the float to hand out candy. Sandi and her two youngest came and helped hand out flyers for the T.OW.E.D program with the candy and Eric and I walked behind the tow truck as well. We had a good time and it didn't even snow or rain on us this year. I have pics of the float and will post them later today hopefully but I'm not sure. Later, Amy

long time no see
Okay so I have been very terrible lately but I will say I have still been plagued by computer problems. We are still here and just working. Travis is very excited and getting ready for the day after Thanksgiving, not for the sales but we will be out in the Parade of Lights this year and he has designed the float. I will get pictures for all of you but he is excited and hopefully we wont freeze walking behind the truck; we will be handing out fliers for the T.O.W.E.D. program that Travis' work participates in. They give free tows to people who have been drinking and need a ride home safely about 3 weeks in Dec. thru New Year's Eve. I'm sure Trevor will be upfront with Daddy in the truck and Eric and I will freeze outside, but all in support of a great program. I have to work the day after Thanksgiving but will be getting up and going to a sale for a new washer and dryer at a blow out sale price before I head off to work then I hope I get a nap after work! busy weekend
So it has been a hectic weekend but I feel I have at least acomplished something. I finished our Christmas shopping for the kids and Travis and I always agree to do something small for each other. He is very thoughtful and helps the boys shop for me. I have also been working on the computer like a mad woman today. I have done invites for my sister Sandi; her two daughters Paige and Sammy are being baptised next month and I got my pictures downloaded finally from my friend Jenni's babies blessing day, so I have been working on those. My schedule at work is changing so I work every weekend from now on; I am hoping it will be temporary and after 30 to 60 days I can bid to a new shift but we will see.

new family pictures
Okay so its getting late and we all have to be up for school and work tomarrow but I wanted to show you our beautiful kids! My wonderful friend Jenni took these pictures for us and I am so grateful to have her talent because my youngest was in no mood to have his picture taken and even pretended to sleep while she was trying to shoot some photos of him! Later, Amy P.S. some of Lacey's Senior pictures are able to be seen at jjhphotography.blogspot.com

Rocky day
So the weather is terrible today, raining and cold with a mix of snow! Poor Travis had to drive to Salt Lake this morning and could barely see in front of his big truck with that horrible traffic, but he did make it home all right. We went to Lower Ross Park this afternoon and Eric discovered a "cave" as he called it but really it was just a little spot in the rocks out of the weather. We weren't out for very long but we took some pictures of my mom and dad for their Christmas cards. Later, Amy

Costumes
So Eric and Trevor were so excited for Halloween this year! Eric had a party at school and made special snack mix. Trevor hung out with me all day and was in his costume by 1:30 p.m. We had to go to the shop (Dad's work at Denny's) and show Daddy how cute how cute Trevor was in his dinosaur costume! He roared loud! We picked up Eric from school and let him get into his costume, a football player. We had to go to Aunt Stephanie's house before she left at five to go to the football game with Jenna and she had amazing goodie bags for the kids with special cups and gooey eyes! Then we went and picked up Dad from the shop and headed off the the mall where the Chubbuck police helped sponser safe trick or treating; and the mall shops had employees dressed up handing out candy; it was a ton of fun but Trevor was tired before we hit the end of the mall. We had to go to McDonald's to see Lacey, to Grandpa and Grandma Jones', to Aunt Laeloni's and Grandma and Grandpa Waddoups' before we could call it a night. It was very busy but we had tons of fun. Laeloni's son Kory and his girlfriend ending up taking the boys with them around the block to cousin Kayla'a house with Callie who was dressed very cute! Later, Amy
Halloween
Ok, so I feel really behind now but I finally got it so the computer would read my camera card and I'm ready to show you how wonderful the boys did carving pumpkins! They were so cute! Trevor drew his own design and Grandpa Larry W. helped him carve it; he would not help pull the seed out of the pumpkin it was to yucky for him. Eric drew his own face on and my wonderful hubby helped him carve his pumpkin; Eric is never shy about digging around in something yucky so he dug his own seeds out. I decided to try carving a bat and moon and ended up just making a huge mess! My moon fell off and then my bat came out of the pumpkin until my brother T.J. mended it with some toothpicks I was feeling very rotten about my pumpkin. It worked out and looked ok in the end but I think next year I will stick with a pumpkin face! Lol! Later, Amy

ex husbands
So I guess I have a stalker so I will be careful what I say about my children or certain other people's children. So anyone that has been divorced knows what I am talking about and thank goodness I don't have to deal with mine(ex). My wonderful husband has adopted my son so his dad is out of the picture but other people are having issues with their ex stalking her friends blogs to try and get dirt on her. It won't happen here because she is a wonderful mother to all of her children! I could never say something that the courts would consider bad. That is all I have to say about crazy ex-husbands and thank the world for second chances and wonderful husbands now to help support the women made crazy by the ex-husband!

Pumpkin Patch fun!
So we had soooo much fun Saturday even though we were really busy. Travis won't even leave the house today he just wants to rest before work tomarrow but we took the kids to the pumpkin patch and got more than just pumpkins. We walked through a corn maze answering questions about agriculture to pick the right path the get out, we fed farm animals corn stalks, we got our faces painted, made bird feeders and picked out our perfect little pumpkins. They didn't have great pumpkins here so I was bummed when we first pulled in but we had so much fun I let the kids pick out pumpkins as long as they weren't green! I'm sure it's the cold weather and frost affecting the color but they were a little sad and kind of expensive for pumpkins. We also had my friend Jenni do family pictures in the morning, you can have a preview at jjhphotography.blogspot.com and they are listed under Jones' She does an amazing job and of course we got to hold the twins while we were at her house and Eric and Cameron finally got to play with each other for a little while.

Halloween party!
Hi, its been a busy week and I think its only going to get crazier with the holidays so close! We had a fun Hallween party this week, kid free, with our Lions Club here in Chubbuck. I managed to avoid having my picture taken as a construction worker! Travis went as a farmer (I know it needed explaining right!) and we had a ton of fun. My Mom and Dad and Travis' Dad and Stepmom were also there. They were so fun and I really enjoyed myself. It made for a later night than usual in the middle of the week but it was worth it. My mom just had a vest and funny thing like a bat and refused to do the bat wings, my dad went as a hunter, shock, shock since that is what he does all fall but we thought we were lucky to get him to go at all since he is such a crab. Denny went as a fishing pole with a fish on and Shirley was a woopie cushion, we we all thought was soooooo funny and Travis wouldn't stop calling her an old fart! Lol! I will try get back on Sunday as I know tomarrow will be too hectic. Later, Amy

Just a crying day!
So I was just looking at my friend Jenni's blog today and thought I would post really quick. Eric today had an accident at school and the school secretary was so mean to me when she called. I'm sure I just took it personal because I dont feel like people understand Eric and I was at work in the middle of a phone call with someone else yelling at me over their tv! Some days I just want to wrap him away from all the world so he doesnt get hurt and other days I just want to throw him out into the world so I have some time to myself without all the crazyness that comes with ADHD. I am really struggling with his treatment options right now after a horrible time with play therapy I gave up on counseling but now I'm now so sure it was the right thing for him. It's hard to continue a treatment when you dont feel like you see any improvement in your home life.

Updates!
So I loved this Japanese style drumming on the float next to us in the parade. They were wonderful and what tradition they took do that kind of music. Ok, so my friend Jenni has been helping me a little with my blog; thank goodness for that! She personalized my colors for me and I will have to learn to do that, I really like it and I am working on getting a family picture up by my header, but it will have to wait a bit longer since today is hectic. She also put my slide show on the side so it will not go into the archives ( and I thought I was doing good just to figure out how to add a slide show!) Travis and my dad went hunting this morning so it is just mom and me with my boys. They must know its the weekend because they are having a hard time sitting still today. We have a ton of errands to do still and its after noon already. We made homemade scones today with honey butter for a breakfast snack and they were a delious treat! I'm sure I don't need to eat anything fried for breakfast but today I will make an exception, lol. I am going back to my original schedule at work, only a week at nights and I think it really threw everyone for a loop! It almost wasn't worth changing for just a week but everyone will be glad to know when I am working again. Well, I have to go and protect my youngest from the oldest so I had better go before someone is dead! I love my children soooooooooo much! I hope everyone has a good weekend, Later, Amy
Parade!
Ok, so we are not the traditional parade watchers, but we love to go and ride with Travis while he drives a float in the parade. Yesterday was the Homecoming parade for Idado State University and we bought tons of candy and still didnt have enough to last till the end of the parade. Trevor was so cute throwing out candy but not very good at it; we picked up a lot of candy off the step of the truck at the end of the parade. Eric rode in the sleeper of the truck with the door opened and watched everyone as we drove by. I admire Travis the more I go with him for all the hard work he does to keep everyone safe. It is an enormous truck and people were in the street and we were driving people little girls while doing jumps on the back of the truck so that would be nerve wracking to me but he is always calm and careful. It was so crazy there were two little kids hurt by other floats that day! We have tons of fun even though Travis is working, lol.

Busy!
So I finally made it to Blackfoot yesterday to see my friend Jenni and her kids; her twins are a month old and I barely made it down to see them! They are so adorable, as are all of her children, and so tiny still! Trevor loved playing with her sons, Gabe and Austin while we visited and we braved going out to lunch with all of the kids! It is hard to find a table to seat 2 car seats, 2 high chairs, 3 adults and 1 small, but very active, Austin. I had so much fun and was so sad to have leave to go to work last night. It is something we need to do again soon with the two oldest out of school so they can play. I love being able to visit with her and our kids even get along. I just thought I would post these photos up quickly haven't been able to do much with them but edit them so far and Trevor is not in the waiting mood today. Later, Amy
