grrrrrrrrrr

I cant get my pictures on here again! I'm sorry you will have to go without seeing the float because it was a lot of work to put together and even more to take apart! Lol! We had fun though. I am breaking out the Christmas decorations asap but I cant do it before Thanksgiving (it's like a law!) so it has to wait for me to get some time which means not this weekend. I hate having time off in the middle of the week I feel like I get no time to relax. I have to be up and out of the house by 8:15 am to get Eric off to school. I am grateful to have a good paying job that gives my good hours during the week though so I can take Eric to school and pick him up. I'm ready for my lights up outside and my door ringer to sing holly songs of the season to me. I know that door hanger drives Travis mad but I am still putting it up and I have to compete with the kids to get to push the button to make it sing when we walk up to our front door! I can't wait for our tree we have been working on the tree decorations for over a month so I hope it comes together well! I hope to have the picture portion up and running soon sorry guys! thanksgiving

Hi everyone! Just a quick note today, we had a wonderful Thanksgiving even though I worked until 2. We went to DeAnn and Bill's house, Travis' step-sis and had some good food and a wonderful time visiting with his whole family. Travis made a fruit salad to take so I didn't cook a single thing on the big day. It was kind of nice! Lol! I did the crazy thing and got up at 4 am to go to Sears on Friday. They had a front loading washer and dryer set for 599.00 and since my washer is leaving marks on my clothes and it takes two cycles for my clothes to dry I thought it worth the pain (a lot of PAIN!) to get up and go even though I also had to be to work by 9am. My sister Sandi went with me and the set is on back order but hopefully will be in soon since I already had to pay for them. I had to wait in line for 45 minutes, but we saved over 600.00. I thought it best to leave Travis at home in bed so we wouldn't have to drag the kids out (my mom was working!) I did manage to make it to Kmart for a few small things but as you can imagine not a lot of money left in the budget. I did get to go to breakfast with Sandi before going to work. I worked until 2 and then headed to the shop to help put the finishing touches on the float for the Parade of Lights and then headed home to get Trevor a nap before going to the float to hand out candy. Sandi and her two youngest came and helped hand out flyers for the T.OW.E.D program with the candy and Eric and I walked behind the tow truck as well. We had a good time and it didn't even snow or rain on us this year. I have pics of the float and will post them later today hopefully but I'm not sure. Later, Amy

long time no see

Okay so I have been very terrible lately but I will say I have still been plagued by computer problems. We are still here and just working. Travis is very excited and getting ready for the day after Thanksgiving, not for the sales but we will be out in the Parade of Lights this year and he has designed the float. I will get pictures for all of you but he is excited and hopefully we wont freeze walking behind the truck; we will be handing out fliers for the T.O.W.E.D. program that Travis' work participates in. They give free tows to people who have been drinking and need a ride home safely about 3 weeks in Dec. thru New Year's Eve. I'm sure Trevor will be upfront with Daddy in the truck and Eric and I will freeze outside, but all in support of a great program. I have to work the day after Thanksgiving but will be getting up and going to a sale for a new washer and dryer at a blow out sale price before I head off to work then I hope I get a nap after work! busy weekend

So it has been a hectic weekend but I feel I have at least acomplished something. I finished our Christmas shopping for the kids and Travis and I always agree to do something small for each other. He is very thoughtful and helps the boys shop for me. I have also been working on the computer like a mad woman today. I have done invites for my sister Sandi; her two daughters Paige and Sammy are being baptised next month and I got my pictures downloaded finally from my friend Jenni's babies blessing day, so I have been working on those. My schedule at work is changing so I work every weekend from now on; I am hoping it will be temporary and after 30 to 60 days I can bid to a new shift but we will see.

new family pictures

Okay so its getting late and we all have to be up for school and work tomarrow but I wanted to show you our beautiful kids! My wonderful friend Jenni took these pictures for us and I am so grateful to have her talent because my youngest was in no mood to have his picture taken and even pretended to sleep while she was trying to shoot some photos of him! Rocky day

So the weather is terrible today, raining and cold with a mix of snow! Poor Travis had to drive to Salt Lake this morning and could barely see in front of his big truck with that horrible traffic, but he did make it home all right. We went to Lower Ross Park this afternoon and Eric discovered a "cave" as he called it but really it was just a little spot in the rocks out of the weather. We weren't out for very long but we took some pictures of my mom and dad for their Christmas cards. Later, Amy

a typist in the making

I just loved this photo! It is of Travis' nephew's little girl and I thought it looked like she was getting ready to type a report here. She is with Grandma Shirley at the shop and was typing away at the computer keyboard. Later, Amy

I love fall

So I just had to take some pictures of the trees right now around my parents home; I can't believe how beautiful they are right now and how fast they are loosing their leaves. We have piles of leaves all over the road and up the driveway to their home.

Costumes

So Eric and Trevor were so excited for Halloween this year! Eric had a party at school and made special snack mix. Trevor hung out with me all day and was in his costume by 1:30 p.m. We had to go to the shop (Dad's work at Denny's) and show Daddy how cute how cute Trevor was in his dinosaur costume! He roared loud! We picked up Eric from school and let him get into his costume, a football player. We had to go to Aunt Stephanie's house before she left at five to go to the football game with Jenna and she had amazing goodie bags for the kids with special cups and gooey eyes! Then we went and picked up Dad from the shop and headed off the the mall where the Chubbuck police helped sponser safe trick or treating; and the mall shops had employees dressed up handing out candy; it was a ton of fun but Trevor was tired before we hit the end of the mall. We had to go to McDonald's to see Lacey, to Grandpa and Grandma Jones', to Aunt Laeloni's and Grandma and Grandpa Waddoups' before we could call it a night. It was very busy but we had tons of fun. Laeloni's son Kory and his girlfriend ending up taking the boys with them around the block to cousin Kayla'a house with Callie who was dressed very cute! Later, Amy

Halloween

Ok, so I feel really behind now but I finally got it so the computer would read my camera card and I'm ready to show you how wonderful the boys did carving pumpkins! They were so cute! Trevor drew his own design and Grandpa Larry W. helped him carve it; he would not help pull the seed out of the pumpkin it was to yucky for him. Eric drew his own face on and my wonderful hubby helped him carve his pumpkin; Eric is never shy about digging around in something yucky so he dug his own seeds out. I decided to try carving a bat and moon and ended up just making a huge mess! My moon fell off and then my bat came out of the pumpkin until my brother T.J. mended it with some toothpicks I was feeling very rotten about my pumpkin. It worked out and looked ok in the end but I think next year I will stick with a pumpkin face! Lol! Later, Amy
